After 25 incredible years of marriage, we came together once again — hand in hand, heart to heart — to renew the vows that first united us. Surrounded by family, friends, laughter, and with a few happy tears, we reflected on a journey marked by love, resilience, and unwavering commitment. In a ceremony that echoed the beauty of our original wedding day, yet carried the weight and wisdom of time, we promised once more to walk beside each other through all seasons of life. The years have brought growth, challenges, joy, and countless memories, each one deepening the bond we share. This vow renewal wasn’t just a celebration of the past, but a promise for the future — to continue loving with intention, living with gratitude, and embracing every moment together.

MY VOWS TO MY KING!!

Who would’ve thought?

The boy with two hickeys on his forehead, sitting behind me in church kicking my chair,

would be the one to steal my heart.

Who would’ve known?

The guy I became close friends with in our 20s—the one I shared my crushes and dates with

—would turn out to be the very man I opened my heart to. The one who stayed. The one

who listened to my deepest thoughts and secrets. The one who swept me off my feet. The

one I would marry and raise a beautiful daughter with.

Who knew that 25 years later, you’d still be my biggest cheerleader, my strongest supporter,

the one who never left my side when I faced death itself.

You’re my back-scratcher, my foot-warmer, my shoulder-massager… and yes, my biggest bug

too.

It hasn’t always been perfect, but it has always been ours. A journey filled with valleys and

mountaintops that made us stronger together. And today—25 years later—I love you even

more than I did at the start.

God has truly smiled on us. So let’s keep walking this journey, hand in hand, for as long as

we’re given on this earth… and forever after.

25 years ago, I made a promise to you. That promise was to love, honor, cherish, protect, support, keep you laughing, and lead our union, in alliance with God's principles as long as we were to live. Today, 25 years later, I can honestly say, with the greatest of surity... that I had absolutely No clue as to what that commitment truly meant.

However, what I did know is that I loved you. I have always loved you. I was purposed by God to adore you. I am ravished by your very essence. When I sleep, you are the fantasy of my dreams. When I'm awake, those very dreams are then, my reality. I am blessed! I am favored... not because I found you. But because In finding you, I was able to find myself. You are everything to me!

We've weathered storms and celebrated triumphs. And through it all, my love for you has only deepened. I renew my promise to love, honor, cherish, protect, and remain faithful to the Kind, safe haven that I call, wife. Today, we celebrate the memories of 25 years, as well as the hopes we cherish for the years ahead. My Queen, I love you and I can not wait to date you for the rest of our lives.
